What this site keeps, in plain words.

Short version: we don't use cookies, there are no ad trackers, and we sell nothing. We keep the little we need to count votes fairly and answer your messages. There is no mailing list.

Just visiting

We don't set cookies, and there are no advertising or tracking scripts. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without following you across sites. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver the pages, as every web host does.

The fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them, and Google sees your IP address when it does.

The site remembers a few small things on your own device: whether sound effects are on and how many duels you have judged. That stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Votes

When you judge a duel or vote in the "what should we test next" poll, we store your vote together with a one-way, salted hash of your IP address. We never store the address itself. The hash only lets us stop one person from voting thousands of times. Votes are shown only as totals.

Messages

The contact form sends us your name, email, company if you add one, and your message. We use them only to answer you, and we delete messages we no longer need within a year.

The playground

The model outputs on the test pages run in your own browser, inside a locked frame that can't reach this page or the network. Nothing you type into the calculator or the parser is sent anywhere.

Where it lives

The site, the votes and the messages are stored with Cloudflare; email to hello@novaki.lol arrives on our own mail server. The videos are on YouTube, where YouTube's own privacy policy applies. We don't share or sell any of it.

Your say

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and pick "Privacy request", or email hello@novaki.lol.
